We Need a Change of Government

TRUE People’s Party to Govern the Country

It is extremely heart warming to see so many Rakyat of various ethnics from different parties and organisations poured into the streets, soaking in the rain and facing threats by the authorities just to send an appeal to his Royal Highness calling for a fair election.

We, the Rakyat of Malaysia have seen enough after five decades being governed by the Barisan National. Instead of being a developed country, Malaysia is now a laughing stock of our neighbours and the International community. Malaysia is now perceived to be a highly corrupted country controlled by certain political leaders, their families and their cronies. Worst, these leaders are incapable, crude, rude, and arrogant and above the law. Our natural wealth is being exploited for the personal benefits of these powerful people while the nation potential is being slowly but surely flushed down the drain. These leaders called themselves the true representative of the nation culture, race and religion and will protect all Malaysian from the threat and the influence of the Western World but yet all of these same leaders ensure that their children are all Western educated and park their ill gained wealth in these Western Nation. They will continue to play the racial card and instil fear by creating suspicion and distrust among the various ethnic groups in Malaysia to divide and rule. Indeed, Malaysia’s greatest threats are from this same group of politicians that continuously fanning and exploiting the emotions of nation’s ethnic group.

I cannot see how Malaysia will progress forward if we continue to be lead by these political parties who have being given the mandate to lead for five decades and yet failed to even generate a Nation we can all be proud off. I feared the future when after five decades of being ruled by Barisan National, what we achieved are “Pakciks” riding motorbike, “Towkays” driving Mercedes while another ethnic group controls media distribution. In reality, that Western educated pea brain failed to mention that my father, that Ah Pek who served the Rakyat and the nation all his life rides a bike, our neighbour, Hussein rides a bike and our newspaper deliveryman Samy also rides a bike. On the other hand, there is this former railway gatekeeper now a “Dato Towkay” who lives in a 16 rooms with 21 toilets, a private swimming pool on a 40,000 sg meter Istana and drives a (maybe some) Mercedes. Sadly, this is an example of the “whom” that “make it” but not addressed. The Rakyat must realise that Malaysia is a potentially prosperous nation with more than enough for all. The Country’s wealth and potential is the envy of many but what we are lacking is a true Rakyat elected party working for the Rakyat as a whole.

I applaud “Bersih” for sending a clear message to the present government that the Rakyat wants change so that the nation can truly move forward. The coming together of “Bersih” alone is clear and present message that Malaysia’s multi ethnic group will come together as one to protect the rights of ALL Malaysians from continuously being exploited and manipulated.

We need a new government to deliver for all and not for some. We must reinstate our true Malaysian value and let the world know that the majority of Malaysians are not incapable, crude, rude, and arrogant.
